At Looking Good Fashions, we have tons of shoes in our selection, including tennis shoes. If you’re on the hunt for a new pair of tennis shoes, but want to make sure they fit like they should, here are a few tips to get that perfect fit.
- Shop at the End of the Day. Not every time of day is the right time to try on and shop for tennis shoes. If you want to make sure you’re getting the best fit, stop by our store at the end of your day. For most people, their feet tend to become more swollen as the day progresses, and it’s best to make sure your new shoes will fit when your feet are at their largest point.
- Wear Your Own Socks. As you try on tennis shoes, it’s best to replicate situations in which you’ll be wearing them in the near future. For this reason, it’s a good idea to bring the socks that you’ll wear with them, especially if you plan to wear these shoes when you go walking or running.
- Walk Around. It is an old myth that shoes need to be “broken in” before they can be worn for an extended period of time. If your shoes don’t fit comfortably when you put them on for the first time, there’s a good chance that they won’t be comfortable when you wear them later on. Take the time to walk around our store and really pay attention to how your feet feel with your new tennis shoes on before making your purchase.
