Although the start of a new year can be exciting, it can be overwhelming, too. Here are some tips to make shopping for new clothing in 2016 easier on you and your kids.
- Clean Out Closets- January is a great time to go “out with the old, in with the new.” How much of your children’s clothing needs to be given away and how much of it can be worn for another year? Go through and clean out your kids’ closets before you head off to the store. This will ensure that you don’t buy anything you don’t really need.
- Take Measurements- Needing to make returns after you buy your kids new clothing can be a pain. To ensure you don’t have to take anything back, take their measurements and make sure you know what size they wear before you shop. Additionally, have your children try on all of their new clothes at the store before you head up to the cash register.
- Make a List- When you go shopping for new clothing, you want to finish things as quickly as you can. To make this happen, write down all of the clothing items you need for each one of your kids before you go to the store.
